- Results
- 3 working days

- Not needed
Overview
The annual physical is the appointment that makes every other one easier. It establishes your baseline — blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, weight, and a physical examination so that when something shifts, we can see it against your own history rather than a population average.
For most adults it takes about 45 minutes. If you are managing a chronic condition, we usually fold the annual review into one of your regular visits rather than asking you to come in twice.
What to expect
- Check-in and vitals
Height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature with the nurse.
- Bloodwork
Drawn on site. Fasting is required — see preparation below.
- Consultation and examination
A physical exam and a conversation about symptoms, family history, medication and lifestyle.
- Results and plan
Most results return within three working days. We call you either way — no news is not good news here.
Prep & aftercare
Before: Fast for 8–12 hours (water is fine). Bring any medication you take, including supplements, in their original packaging. If you have had recent tests elsewhere, bring those results.
After: Eat something. There are no restrictions on driving or activity. If tests flag anything, we will book the follow-up before you leave.
